New Upload Limits: 10 Books Per Week
Amazon has moved from a daily upload limit to a weekly window: you can now only publish up to 10 books per week. Previously, authors could upload three books in one day. The new system is a shift to a "Monday to Friday" schedule, though it’s unclear if weekends count towards this limit. This means you must plan your content ahead—especially if you publish low-content or seasonal books.
Amazon says:
"To ensure a positive experience for all authors, we limit the number of titles you can create at the same time to 10 per book format each week. If you expect to regularly create a large number of titles, please contact us to inquire about an exception."
Our Advice:
It has been suggested that frequent publishers of books on Amazon recommend prepping Christmas releases as early as March in order to maximise the Christmas/New Year sales window.
